Shameless Plug for OnDemand

As much as I hate Comcast, I have found a way to reconcile our differences. That’s right, OnDemand. It’s not just for movies and TV shows any longer, oh, no, my friend. I have discovered ExerciseTV.

Hell to the yes, what what! Now I can crunch, stretch, and jumping jack the jiggles away in the privacy and non-hilarity of my own home. Yay for yoga! (It’s amazing, it makes me just as uncomfortable just looking at this yoga master as it would attempting this pose.) (Okay, maybe not as uncomfortable, but pretty close.)

Anyway, we had our visit with the cardiologist today, and they did another EKG and the doctor read Bug’s echocardiogram (basically an ultrasound of the heart). Apparently, all is normal. Doc did confirm that Bug has that slight heart murmur, but the doctor has no reason to believe it might have caused the episode last month. So I guess the next step is to have a formal EEG done of his brain, but all these tests I have a feeling are going to come back normal. Still not sure what caused it, but at least his heart is in good working order. And nothing remotely similar to what happened has happened since then, so that’s another good sign. Like his pediatrician said, it’s happened once in four-and-a-half years, and there’s a good chance it won’t happen again.

Other than that, we’re still trying to stay warm in this single-digit weather. Okay, I’m exaggerating, we’re back up to the teens. Seriously, if it is going to be this cold, it had better snow, and not while we’re out of town. Speaking of which, congratulations to Mike & Charms Woodhouse! It’s always fun to add another Woodhouse to the world…the name alone denotes total rad-ness.

Word.

(I don’t know when exactly it was that I became awkwardly gangsta, but deal with it.)
